Service Description

As a BCBA who worked for an ABA agency for more than a decade, I understand the frustration of waiting for direct intervention ABA services. That's why I offer specialized parent training designed to support families during this interim period. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support your child's development while you navigate your next steps. My services can be short term or ongoing, depending on your family's unique needs. What You Will Learn: • Guidance and Resources: Receive valuable guidance and resources to navigate your child’s diagnosis, including information on advocacy, insurance, school services, and support networks. • Understanding ABA: Gain a clear understanding of the core principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including how behavior is learned and modified. • Behavioral Strategies: Learn evidence-based techniques to address interfering behaviors and promote skill development. • Consistency Across Settings: Discover how to implement ABA strategies consistently, ensuring your child benefits from a stable and predictable environment. • Collaborative Approach: I will work closely with you to create a unified approach between parent education sessions and everyday life. I will consider what is important to your family, ensuring that the strategies we develop are tailored to your unique needs and values, enhancing your child's developmental journey.
